Mario and HES and all involved in the misappropriation and misuse of the rugby league license and rugby league gaming in general over the last few years should be utterly ashamed of themselves.
Only Wii? After a four year wait? MORE excuses!!? i.e. license excuses again; profit excuses and market excuse; AGAIN. It is pathetic.
I hope this game tanks and I hope HES or Mario or whoever is to blame for cocking up the possibility of a decent rugby league game on a serious platform (YET AGAIN) finally lose this license and get what is coming to them…
The problem with Mario and co. is that they don't have the loving interest and attention to detail they should as a smaller operator (they appear not to give a s**t at all; and continuously abuse their customers for having valid and justified opinions and NEEDS) and don't have the budget of the bigger companies who at least would give us, the consumers, an annual offering in a code that works PERFECTLY as a video game;. that is, when it is not a crap rendition of it – like Stacey Jones' (why sully his name) Rugby League and Rugby League 2.
ET's rugby league; even with this THIRD Mario/HES turd sandwich; is still the best rugby league video game – it was made in 1992. That was 18 years ago
