Ten-year-old Willemijn is on a holiday in Spain with her parents and brother. During a visit to Salamanca, she witnesses a robbery. Even when she goes back to the Netherlands, the event continues to haunt her and she decides to take action. This does not only have major implications for Willemijn herself, but also for her friends and classmates. And then there's Salvador, a boy with a big heart for horses. She and Salvador take on an adventure full of friendship, courage, faith, trust and ... noble quadrupeds. Dian van der Veer (1972) is married, has a son and has been working as a volunteer at an elementary school. There, she provides support to students in their middle years through pre-teaching. Thanks to her job, she was inspired to write a wonderful tale about children, her very first book, "Salvador's Feeling for Horses."
