Two secret agents of the United States receive a visit from a US senator with a story about a dangerous drug that needs to be investigated. Sam is an old grizzled fox. His sidekick is an old and grizzled hen. During the course of their investigation, they encounter a growing threat to the world. At every turn, more ridiculous things confront them until they realize the drug is not their only problem. An alien invasion is underway, from prehistoric times. Add to this the fact that Sam and Legs should have been retired long ago. Also, the agency they are working for is being condemned to be replaced with something new and modern. Ultimately, the unlikely geriatric duo passes the test of super heroes!

Author Biography

John W. Twilley attended Oklahoma State University and Central State University. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War in computer operations. After his honorable discharge, he became a junior research scientist at Pan American Petroleum Corporation. While working there, he married Jeanne G. Gundermann, who graduated from OU, and became a microbiologist with the VA Hospital. They are the proud parents of six children, three girls and three boys. He became a computer scientist processing seismic records for Data Computing Corporation and Central Exploration. It was during a particularly bad day at the office that he decided to quit his job and start writing science fiction. He became a real estate agent, and eventually was a broker, before their house burned. During this time he moved his family to the country. He is now writing full time.
