Adam and Alex are two scientists stationed deep beneath the barren surface of Saturn's moon, Titan, seeking new forms of food for the impoverished planet earth.
Their idyllic life is interupted by the arrival of Captain James; a murderous psycopath from earth who reaches Titan just as Saturn goes into eclipse and cuts of communication with the rest of the solar system. When James completes the assembly of his "helper robot", life at the space station is reduced to a single, simple purpose: survival!
