Schleich – Telescope
Schleich released the Bayala Star Disc in 2016. The Star Disc is an astronomical instrument to help the residents of Bayala to know what time it is!
Fun facts about the original star disc: Also known as the Nebra Sky Disc, this original bronze disc has a diameter of 32cm and weighs around 2 kg. Many researchers believe it is the oldest known realistic representation of the cosmos yet found, perhaps a kind of astronomical calculational tool to determine planting and harvest times. It was used as an advanced astronomical clock.

Schleich was founded by Friedrich Schleich in 1935. Its figurines were first released in the 1950s with the development, production and marketing of comic figurines such as Snoopy and The Smurfs. In the early 1980s they added animal figurines and Muppet characters to their range of products.
