It is, to my mind, a perfectly logical extension of this view to assume that there is a still more general body of doctrine, included under the name of Theism, to which those, who in any definite sense are called Christians, add the belief in the Divinity of Christ, and, either as a presupposition or as a corollary, a more or less complete acceptance of the doctrine of the Trinity.
