Author Biography:

Born in Shropshire in 1952, John Constable travelled extensively in Asia during the 1970s. Between 1980-1984 he toured Europe with Sheer Madness Theatre Company. Since 1984 he has had many plays produced in England including his adaptation of 'Gormenghast' (David Glass Ensemble). Resident in Southwark since 1986 his works from 'The Southwark Mysteries' (2000) have been performed at venues ranging from Shakespeare's Globe and Southwark Cathedral to The Glastonbury Festival.
