Author Biography

Luis Ribeiro has been a professor at the School of Agriculture/ University of Lisbon for 25 years and has served twice as the chairman of Department of Landscape Architecture (1999 to 2001; 2004 to 2006). He is currently the director of the Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture at ISA/UTL and a member of the scientific board of the doctoral program in Landscape Architecture (LYNK/ISA/UTL). He is a founding partner and an Executive Director of Topiaris, a professional consulting firm comprised of landscape architects and planners with an office in Lisbon, Portugal. Under his direction, Topiaris received several national awards and has featured in the national and international media.
