Author Biography

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kristan Kuhn was born in Castro Valley California. She traveled while growing up to live in N. Cal., Boise Idaho and Los Angeles. After writing her first screenplay at 18, 'REVELATION OF THE SEDAR' a spiritual futuristic sci- fi, she studied sociology, minored in social psychology, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of California Los Angeles ( U.C.L.A.). Following graduating she produced and directed programming for channel 3 Los Angeles mid 1980's. At 22 her team won an Emmy and she directed 'A Nuclear Family', an award winning video. In the following few years she wrote 'FOR LIFE A POET'S WORDS' Volumes ONE and TWO. She published two works of poetry and created 'SEEKING THE CIRCLE' a non-fiction book for those who are seeking the Truth. Kristan was a visionary ahead of her time. She had a profound concern for the future of humanity and the world. With a sense of urgency she embarked on conveying the Truth to her readers and viewers. After writing so intensely, she returned to her first love of film, began KLK ENTERTAINMENT INC., a visionary film production company and began producing 'REVELATION OF THE SEDAR' at 28. With welcoming feedback and major talent coming aboard, she was about to produce and direct her original sci-fi film. At the height of her reach to give her messages to humanity, Kristan accidentally swallowed her tooth filling ( amalgam) during a snack of popcorn. She immediately took ill, and proceeded to suffer pain and life threatening complications for the next 20+ years. During her time of great struggles from 29 onwards, she wrote the film 'CLOSER', painted 70+ works of acrylic comtemporary art, and composed, performed and profesionally recorded 6 moving and beautiful Ambient CD's during her painful isolation and hardships. Completely by herself. Her great concern to reach humanity in time never left her, but tragically all her work had to be shelved and was left in my care. As I went back through each creation my mouth dropped open, as did each individual I shared her work with. That was the deciding factor for me not to let her life's work die with her.
