Description

"Sex and Champagne" is set in the glitz of the annual Cannes Film Festival, but accurately describes what happens in the shadows created by the money that the festival brings, drugs, alcohol, prostitution and abuse. Dana, a beautiful though naive young woman decides to move up in the world and obtains a job in a 'Champagne bar' not knowing that is just a front for the 'oldest profession.' She soon looses her naivety and starts dating Jack Holloway an American who, unknown to Dana, is an Internet pornographer and serial killer on the run from the F.B.I. Her life spirals into decline until, with her friend Martha, she hatches a plot to get Jack Holloway out of her life for ever. Unknown to Dana, she is Matt's link (FBI) to Jack Holloway. Dana's plan goes horribly wrong because of an incredible twist caused by Martha's boyfriend Edgar. "Sex and Champagne" pulls no punches when it come to the abuse that Dana and her friends suffer at the hands of the rich who come to Cannes for The Festival. Does Dana become an Internet porn Queen against her wishes, and who is Edgar?
