The 2006 remake of Walt Disney's THE SHAGGY DOG brings the beloved story (the original version was released in 1959) up to date for a new generation. The soundtrack, similarly, reflects its time, with such canine-related jams as JaJa Biggs's "Every Dog Has Its Day" and George Clinton's ubiquitous woof-woof anthem "Atomic Dog." The rest of the disc contains Alan Menken's original score, which conveys the frolics and action-packed fun of this Tim Allen vehicle.
