Description

Shane and the Jackadoo was written for Joyce's son Shane when he was 8 years old and received a new bike. His father was cautioning him about going too far up in the hollows of Van Lear and that is where the idea for the book came from. It is fun to go back to your childhood when monsters like the Jackadoo were very real to you, but could be tamed with kindness.
