Sharon Tate was not, at the time of her death, a well known or celebrated Hollywood actress. Sadly, her death and the circumstances behind it are how most people know of her. Sharon was on the brink of becoming a star when she died. Her 26 years did not leave a lot behind for us to discover about her, but what she did leave behind is a wealth of photographs, hundreds of them. She was a sought after model and had done photo shoots for many of the large fashion magazines and other publications. Debra Tate – her younger sister – has done a wonderful job in putting Sharon's life into perspective with this beautiful book. Not only do we see her incredible beauty, but we get an idea about who she was as a person thanks to the narrative from Debra and many of Sharon's friends and associates who share their memories of her. Above all though, Debra has successfully reinstated Sharon's life with this book. Sharon stands as an incredible beauty, a beloved friend and family member who has now – thanks to this book – stepped out from the dark shadows of her murder to be remembered for the woman she was.
