"Summer fix for snowboarders only!"
3 stars"

This actually isn't a bad snowboarding title.

For those who actually snowboard you might end up liking this more than the mainstream reviews would lead you to believe.

The controls do take a while to master and the movement on the lower mountains could be more realistic but all in its a very decent effort at simulating the sport.

Graphics: 3.5/5 Considering its using Assasins creed they really should be better.

Gameplay: 3.5/5 Tricky to master and you can find your vertical and horizontal axis going away from you too easily sometimes. Good fun tho' and the shoulder button gives you a cracking alternate camera angle when hitting jumps!

Sound: 3/5 Nothing amazing. Annoying whiney voice acting and the usual ‘snow swooshing’.

Replay value: 3.5/5 I think the online has great potential and the gear upgrades are very true to life with Burton/Foursquare and Forum gear all appearing from bindings to Jackets and backpacks.

I'd get this once the price drops a bit!!!

Massive mountains and some great backcountry environments. A good laugh and a decent fix over the summer till next season returns!!

"Snow great" Purchased on Mighty Ape

The moment I got this game I ran to my ps3 to play it immediatly. Its really cool how while its loading you can practice on a half pipe. The flips and spins are really hard to control at first and then you get used to it. In the game you get to see Shaun White and his friends from japan and stuff. ITS SO COOL THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Ok yes this is a summer fix for boarders such as myself, but before you write it off have ago. Controls are easy enough to pick up if you give it a good go and once you have that down you will be pulling misty 540's with the rest of us. Graphics are really pretty good and adds real life to the mountains you ride on, shredding power on a game has never been this good. Cool boarders was a great game but was limited to racing and kickers, SSX had the title because of the insane phat moves you could bust out but this snow boarding game is more..well.. real. Sure its got Shaun White in it.. meh!!… just do your own thing is more fun to do.. and thats the cool thing, you can roam. Even better ride with your mates online its great fun.. there is loads of options and things to do in this snow board game. Great game that takes the snow board crown.
