Doreen Schmid, a writer, editor and curator who lives in Napa, California, is a partner in Subject Matters, a traveling exhibition service for socially conscious art. She has edited various photographic and architectural monographs and her writing has appeared in arts, culinary culture and lifestyle publications. She is a board member of PhotoAlliance.
