As expected of Skullcandy, the sound of these headphones is not the problem, bass is nice, but perhaps lacking a little in the treble range.
What kicks these to the curb, however, is the lack of any padding in the head band. Why did they think this would be ok. You either need a thick head of hair or to be wearing a hat for the basic plastic band to not be uncomfortable on your head. I'll be ripping some padding from an old set of headphones to fix this issue – something Skullcandy should be smacked on the hand for not having in the first place. The build quality of the headphones overall is cheap, but at least the ear cushions are comfortable. I'm only giving it 2 stars for the sound and ear cushions, otherwise, they're not something I'd ever recommend.
