- Los Angeles based, Swedish vocalist, producer, and songwriter Lykke Li will release her fourth full-length album and follow-up to her 2014 critically acclaimed album I Never Learn. so sad so sexy is set for release June 8th via RCA Records. Lead single deep end is produced by T-Minus, Jeff Bhasker and Malay.
- Since the release of her debut EP Little Bit in 2008, Lykke Li has become an iconic staple of the indie-pop world with a decade spanning career. With three celebrated studio albums, Youth Novels (2006) Wounded Rhymes, and I Never Learn (2014), Lykke has received critical raves from Best Album of the Year nods from the likes of The New York Times and Rolling Stone to performing at the worlds most revered music festivals including Glastonbury and Coachella. Her second album featured the track I Follow
Rivers which was remixed by The Magician in 2011. The remix went on to reach #1 in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland and Romania, #2 in Switzerland, Austria Ireland, Netherlands and #3 in France! Lykke has also won two Swedish Grammys, performed on tons of TV shows including Later with Jools Holland, Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show.
- Prior to recording this album, Lykke was busy nurturing liv, her love-child with Andrew Wyatt, Björn Yttling, Pontus Winnberg and Jeff Bhasker, which allowed this collective a mutual creative outlet. Outside of music, Lykke Li is a partner in YOLA Mezcal – a brand created in collaboration with her friends Gina Correll Aglietti (chef and stylist) and Yola Jimenez (activist and Mexican entrepreneur), who the mezcal is named after. In addition, she starred in Terrance Maliks 2017 film Song to Song alongside Ryan Gosling.
