Description

There are so many unwanted chemicals in commercial soap and people are becoming more sensitive to it to the point where either for health reasons or just as a hobby, soap making is increasingly on the rise. "Soap Making Made Easy - A Beginner's Guide to Making Great Soap" is the perfect guide to get you started on making your own soap creation. What's nice is that you can make it to include fragrances that you like to smell or colors that you enjoy looking at. There's a variety of recipes that you can try out. The basic ingredients mentioned in the book are things that you can easily find at any craft stores and of course your local grocery store including containers as well. Once you've made a batch and have used it, consult the book again and try a different recipe to see which one(s) becomes your favorite. It's both fun and interesting. Afterwards, you can tell your friends and family that you know how to make soap. Share a sample with them.

Author Biography:

Ariel Horowitz has had a lot of time on her hands due to an illness. Her growing sensitivity to chemicals and other unwanted ingredients in common goods that she uses around the house made it difficult to freely grab a product and just start using it. One of the items she was very sensitive to was soap in general. Whether it was for the bathroom, kitchen, or laundry, she had to be careful. With all the time she had, it put her in a position to begin learning how to make her own soap. The best thing about it is that it's healthier and had a way of making her feel good. It was like a sense of accomplishment when she used the soap that she made at home with her own hands. When people come over to visit her, they too get to use the soap and she's able to talk about the process that went into it. This same process is what she writes about in her book so that others can try it as beginners.
