No wonder ‘Operation Burnham’ was kept quiet to the civilian world at the time. It came loaded with risk for all nations involved. The bravery and determination of the women of Bougainville to end a 10 year war, aided by the peaceful Kiwi soldiers who risked their lives to make it happen, is astounding and inspiring. A must see movie that will open your eyes.
This film is one out of the box. No one told me that the NZ army ended a war using guitars. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I loved this film. Great sound track throughout.
