Author Biography
Edward Page grew up in Weymouth and moved to pastures new in the late 'fifties. With a burning ambition to be a drummer, he played with many bands throughout the 'sixties. From Jazz to Blues and Pop to Rock, touring and both recording with such names as Mike Cooper of The Blues Committee, Billie Davis with her 'Tell Him' hit, and Dave Brock of Hawkwind. Meeting many of the great and good on the way. Including Acker Bilk, Kenny Ball, Eric Clapton, Rod Stuart, John Lee Hooker, Howling Wolf, Arthur Brown, Jet Harris, The Who and many more. He also met and was photographed by Lord Patrick Litchfield. Whilst fortunes were good for a single musician they were not so with a family. Then it was a succession of management jobs leading to his own company and a fruitful sale of that company to allow early retirement and to pursue a musical interest. He is married with two children and four grandchildren and lives now in West Berkshire.
