Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing (Classics) reviews

This is one of the very first games I got for the Xbox 360 and without this game, I would probably have never gotten into the console as much. It helped me get the feel of the controller and the system as a whole.

This game reminds me a lot of the Playstation (PS1) Crash Team Racing. Lots of fun, good variety of difficulty without being impossible and lots of different tracks and characters to try.

For those who like to earn Achievements, this game has a good mix of the easy to achieve and the head-scratching “how am I supposed to do THAT???” to be enjoyable.

My only gripe with the game is that there are a few race-related glitches which many users have utilised to get to the top of the leaderboards.

Multiplayer over Xbox Live is nice and simple to set up, but unfortunately it appears that only one player can play over Xbox Live – so two players on once console can't race together against other players. There is however a split-screen offline Multiplayer which is still plenty of fun.

Definitely a great game for all ages (kid-friendly), and especially for those just starting out on the Xbox 360.

Any console hoping to get its foot into the door of as many households as possible needs to have at least one (but hopefully more!) totally rockin' entry in each genre. This Kart racing game is so awesome an effort, Microsoft can finally sit back and celebrate not only having added to its cartoon racer line up, but having done so in such a way as to leave all the other entries in the dust. The Kart racer as a genre is a very simple affair, but surprisingly, a few developers have managed to make a pig's breakfast (or cat's dinner – any of the daily meals of any of the animal kingdom, really) of the job. This game has got it right: bright & colourful, fast, challenging and as addictive as coffee and cigarettes! Visually, it has to be the best Kart racer available: beautiful, breathtaking backgrounds, exceptional care taken with all the details of the characters and objects in the scenery (remember all the stitching and other elements of Banjo Kazooie N&B?) … And a REAL sense of speed when you're boosting. This is one game I would gladly pay full price for. At a cheaper price, it's a steal.

This is a great game. I downloaded the demo on Xbox live marketplace, where you can choose between only 2 characters out of the 20 in the full version and can play 1 of the racetracks out of the 24. I was very impressed with the smoothness of the game mechanics and the overall fun you have playing this game.

Fun multiplayer but single player is too easy even on the hardest difficulty

Play on your own through missions to test your skills as a racer, play with a friend and test each other’s metal in 1 on 1 combats, races and capture the flag style matches. Go online for a frenzy of race action with friends or strangers alike.

A definite must for anyone who enjoyed the original games or quirky race games.

I was like, OH MY GOSH when I saw Banjo and Kazooie. I play Banjo-Kazooie on the old Nintendo 64, I replayed it when it was released on Xbox live arcade along with Banjo Tooie. Banjo will always be my favourite along with Lara Croft!!!

This game is perfect for young ones who love Sonic or racing. Not only is it very easy but it has stunning visual effects and a great range of characters and tracks. For those that have played either Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing, this game is very similar and just as fun!

Fun as game, recommended buy, couldn't find this game in any shops in my area but I did online here!

This is really almost a copy of Mario Cart, but don't let it stop you. It's fun to play, with great HD graphics and better powerups then Mario Cart.
