CRUISE BLUES
Chris's father, Nelson, tells Sonic and the others that they need a break from all the battles that they are fighting with Eggman. They are draining them mentally as well as physically, and offers them a trip on a gorgeous passenger liner.
After their departure, Sonic, who is bored at not having anything to do, pleads with Chuck saying that he wants to return back to land. However, after finding out that Chuck is unable to help him, Sonic tries everything in his power to get back to land. None of his plans work out.
Eggman, then appears with three of his robots. The robots merge and become Egg Fort II, and attack Sonic. Sonic is in a fix. However, Ella comes to his rescue on board X-Tornade II. She attacks Egg Fort II and Eggman is forced to retreat for the time being.

FAST FRIENDS
The leader of the S-Team (Sam) suddenly comes to Chris's house and challenges Sonic to a racing match.
The President's aide, who had put him up to this, seems to have set up the race to win popularity for the President. However, Sonic is not at all interested. Sam who becomes impatient calls the President's aide. The President's aide, hearing this, uses Dr. Eggman to get Sonic to participate in the race. Dr. Eggman, decides to accept the proposal after being told that he would be given a stomach full of cream puffs if he cooperated. Decoe and Bocoe are delighted that they will get to eat cream puffs if they make Sonic reach goal first. Dr. Eggman sends out Bokkun to provoke Sonic to participate.
The race between the leader of the S-Team and Sonic begins. Sonic is held up by various obstacles that are set up before him. Dr. Eggman's robot tries to get in the way of the rocket car, but instead gets in Sonic's way. The race turns into a rough-and-tumble fight. Sonic, however, overcomes all obstacles and makes goal!

LITTLE CHAI LOST
Chris, together with Cream, Tails and the gang, plus his schoolmates go on a summer camp to various islands throughout Japan and enjoy themselves. Sonic also comes along, but instead of participating in camp, he goes running around the small islands, and go sightseeing here and there.
Cheese of the Chao clan loves clean, clear water and is floating along playing in the rapids. He is accidentally carried off by the rapids and everyone splits up and looks around the surrounding valley for Cheese.
Just about the same time, Eggman with Decoe and Bocoe, are taking a trip on the opposite end of the same mountain. They notice Chris and his party walking along on the other side. Thinking that maybe Chris and the others have found the Chaos Emerald, they follow the group. Chris and the others reach a small stream. Cheese is playing innocently. They find that there are many Chao clans residing in the vicinity. Cheese, Cream and the others, although regretting having to part with the Chao clans, leave the stream.
