Darren Shan finishes off his series perfectly. It had to be extremely difficult to find a way to end this series, but Shan succeeds, ties up all loose ends and messes with the minds of the readers.

For all readers who are sad to see this series end, but know it has to, this should be a very satisfying finale. No longer so young, Darren Shan makes decisions in this finale that will shape the future better than Des Tiny could ever dream of doing.

Mr. Crepsley would be proud of Darren as he uses EVERYTHING he has learned to end things his way. Bravo!

Once again, for those who claim the author is without skill, I say Charna's guts! You just don't get it. This series can be read by any reader of any age, which is all a part of Shan's genius! I read all 12 books in this series and actually ordered the last 4 from England because I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

Shan's unique perspective on vampires makes this series fun for those who like vampire stories and those who do not. Shan is truly talented!
