Description

"There is a renewed thirst for spirituality," Sir John Templeton has noted. "More and more people are realizing that 'something' is missing." "Spiritual Possibilities" highlights Sir John's philosophies on "invisible realities," such as love, purpose, creativity, prayer, humility, praise, compassion, invention, truthfulness, giving, and worship. Incorporating passages and ideas from Sir John's Possibilities for Over One Hundredfold More Spiritual Information, "Spiritual Possibilities" offers meditative thoughts on Sir John's life-affirming philosophy. His words spark vision, inquiry, and insight, opening the door to further contemplation. If people commit themselves to exploring spiritual possibilities, individuals and the world as a whole will benefit.Sir John looks at: forgiveness as a means of ending conflict; positive thinking as a factor in healing faster and being more resistant to disease; the outcome of feeling gratitude - having more to be grateful for; the power of prayer and of agape love; the quiet role of humility in opening horizons and enriching lives. There are boundless opportunities for learning and growing. Through the examples of his life, his work, his family, and his books, Sir John inspires and motivates people to go beyond their self-imposed limits and to open themselves to the possibilities offered by cultivating spirituality.
