Author Biography

Education has always been at the forefront of Jeron Mastrud's priorities. Being born the son of two teachers, he graduated high school with a 4.02 GPA. In addition to his academic success, Jeron excelled at 2 varsity sports. The combination of both athletics and academics garnered recognition of several Ivy League schools. Deciding on Kansas State University for his college career, he attended on a full athletic scholarship. Jeron's success continued both athletically, philanthropically and academically. He set the record for most receptions by a tight end in Kansas State history, earning AP 1st Team Big XII honors, as well as 2nd Team All American. He spent time as a mentor to troubled middle school students and read books to children in elementary schools. He had an active role in the Kansas Special Olympics. After graduating cum laude in the winter of 2009, it was time for Jeron to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL. In 2010 he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent. He was released in September of the same year. Immediately following his release, he spend two days with the New England Patriots, before being let go yet again. On his way to the airport, he received a call from the Miami Dolphins and this is where he would spend the next three years. He finished his NFL career starting 22 games, including the entire 2013 season for the Oakland Raiders where he also was a team speaker and guest captain. Before leaving the Raiders, Jeron founded Pacific Neuro Therapy, a company which helps people overcome injury or eliminate chronic pain in 10 days or less. As CEO of the Pacific Neuro Therapy, Jeron's overseas business development, expansion and direction of the company. He also has co-founded Reyes de la Tierra, an agricultural real estate company and Jet Resorts, a vacation rental home company.
