this game is excellent. the gameplay is nice a new, taken from the star ocean 2 gameplay engine, gives this game a nice touch. 40–50 hours of gameplay if you dont use any sort of guide, a great storyline, and multiple characters that you cant all get 1 one playthough, gives the game great replay value. this is a must buy for anyone looking for rpgs

This is no doubt, an amazing remake, and the voice acting is awesome!

Star Ocean First Departure has a very intriguing story line, and there are so many many many possibilities in this game, including different endings on how you act, how you treat another character and who you recruit while you are on your journey. One play through is no where near enough to see everything, making replaying this game is a must! Excellent replay value!

The battle system is great fun too, real time battle and lots of magic and techniques to be unlocked! Doesn't get boring!

Also the Personally Actions (sort of like side stories) are absolutely well done! It's fully voiced and some of them are absolutely funny (and grim sometimes) that made me laugh in real life!

Get this amazing game before it's gone!
