Star Wars: Battlefront II previews

So, you pay full price for the game… then, while in various modes, you need to wait a few hours before you can earn credits again. That might be fine for a free to play game, but when you pay full price, that's unaccep­table. Awesome graphics, but terrible in-game gambling/money-making from EA.

EA unfortunately used to make great games, without needing to resort to underhanded methods in order to get more money out of consumer. As it stands, this game is ‘pay to win’, meaning that those who pay more money (up to over $2,000 in micro-transactions) will be the stronger ones, and and those who do not will have a much harder time. Main characters are locked out behind either a paywall, or hundreds upon hundreds of hours of playing JUST to unlock them. Infact it's been calculated that to unlock everything it would take over 4,000 hours. EVEN if they drop the price for loot crates or to unlock characters, I would say to avoid this game. The company has revealed that their true focus is simply monetary gain over the happiness of a consumer, and if people buy into this, nothing will change. Admittedly it's a big step, but I would suggest boycotting EA games. If their consumer number drop enough they'll be forced to compensate and change their selfish ideals, and the way they ‘appeal’ to their consumers, and will be forced to stop. As it stands, the games is already being investigated overseas as to whether or not the game is considered gambling, which should be a large enough red flag for you.

If you ever played any of the previous Battlefront games and absolutely loved the like I did, then THIS will be the perfect game for you. I 100% guarantee it.
