"Good but lacking"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I'm a huge Star Wars fan who was very excited for this. As more and more got revealed the more I lost my excitement. No space battles and no campaigns. Single player is lacking also. Star Wars is a story and needs to be told. This game though removes all story and just puts people in to shoot. As more content comes out I hope the fix this.

Other then that it is a good shooter and the maps are legit.

"Remastered for new generation"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

When I first started playing it in beta test I was quite amazed with almost everything. However there is a drawback as I am bf4 player I had feeling that I was playing same game under different skin. Sadly there is no freedom for big techs. Great game overall and it is available for people with budget builds as it easily maintains ~45fps with dips to 27fps.

"Not worth it at this price."
2 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

As an avid player of the original Star Wars Battlefront games I can honestly say that this game is nothing like the originals. The Matchmaking system is broken, the only game mode that seems to be popular is just the straight deathmatch mode, with the 40v40 game modes having long queue times and often empty or not full lobbies. The spawn locations are entirely random which means you sometimes spawn right next to enemy players and are instantly killed. The aiming also seems to be off as it seems to be very hard to hit players occasionally. There are only a handful of maps that rotate unlike the original games which had countless battles. Have to pay USD 50$ for the DLC pack cause EA meaning you're gonna almost have to buy the whole game over again to get more maps. No space missions. The only redeeming feature of this game is the graphics, the maps are absolutely beautiful. At this price I cannot recommend buying this game, wait for it to drop in price or go on sale.

"I want to like this game"
2 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

If you want to start playing this game you best get the deluxe edition as it gives you instant access to the best gun in the game. Otherwise it is extremely frustrating being killed with the deluxe edition gun over and over. The game looks amazing though..

"No server browser..."
1 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

The game looks great, probably one of the best looking fps out there. And the audio, its amazing! But that's all this game does well. Its been a few weeks after release and it seems like the game has died. I can't join a multi player session because they are always empty. The game its self feels lacking in content with vey few single player options.

"Lackluster FPs and an insult to gaming"
1 stars"

Before you start a war to defend this game just think for a second, strip away the Star Wars skin and what do you have- An incredibly bare bones and lackluster first person shooter. But to be blunt this is a shell of a game, no campaign, no space battles, illusion of progression, a grab bag one one map per mode game types, ZERO connectivity within parties, and of course THE SEASON PASS THAT COSTS AS MUCH AS THE GAME! We all know EA is one of the worst companies in the world, let alone the gaming industry. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! EA will no doubt bring out a Battlefront 2 with all the things they purposely left out of this game AND still charge a $90 season pass for that too!
