Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy reviews

Jedi Academy may not have the best graphics, but it's an essential for any Star wars fan! The gameplay is great, and the lightsabre battles are excellent. Now and again, you may slam sabres against the enemy and you have to keep on clicking the left mouse button to push them away. Its great, and you can choose to either become a dark jedi or a light jedi. Thus, great for replaying!

Also the multiplayer is great fun, and is good to play after finishing the single player mode. And for $10, this is definently a must buy for any SW or 3rd person game fan!

An enjoyable game with decent graphics, for its age, and easy user friendly playability. It's the lightsaber combat that really makes this game, with 3 different styles of single blade and paired sabres plus of course the darth maul style double ended lightsaber, the lightsaber combat is fast and furious.

My personal favourite technique in combat is force choking my opponent and banging them around or dropping them off cliffs. Selectable force powers as you go through the missions is good as it lets you mould your character to the style you want to play.

A great game!

It still holds up. After a few years between it and me, I went back, and It's still an A in my book. Star Wars fans must have. ANYONE must have.

Oh yeah – how satisfying – from the training to the battles – everything is balanced just right. You journey through just enough set-pieces, just enough context-setting, and more than enough free-form lightsabre slashing and force-trick pulling. Fun from start to when-ever the finish is… I ain't got there yet. I'm sure my 10-year sons will be there first though.

probably one of the best starwars games ive played, the graphics are a bit lacking but it is over 5 years old, if u want to have fun and be a jedi this is very much the game for you
