Hey guys I'd like to begin by asking the question; Why should we buy this over the complete season (when it eventually comes out on either Blu-Ray or DVD)? Well I'll answer that question for you..
It's quite simple really this DVD set really is probably best suited for people who heard about this series and don't really want to invest in the complete season until they find out that they like it. This is where this DVD shines, it's like a feature length promo to the series which is really what a pilot is..
Preview to the series.. SGU is the third incarnation of the fabled Stargate Franchise. This series will see unfortunate people in the wrong place. Now before you go comparing this series toward Atlantis and SG1 please don't. You simply cannot. This series is shown from a more realistic point of view, it's dark, emotional. I've seen the entire series and believe me the wait is worth it.
