- 1982 Game 2, 1982: QLD def. NSW 11–7 – Paul Vautin crashes over the tryline is the dying moments to seal a Queensland victory.
- 1987 Game 3, 1987: QLD def. NSW 10–8 – Allen Langer turns in a Man of the Match performance to guide Queensland home in a thriller.
- 1989 Game 2, 1989: QLD def. NSW 16–12 – Wally Lewis scores a miraculous solo try to steal victory.
- 1992 Game 2, 1992: QLD def. NSW 5–4 – Allen Langer slots a clutch field goal, snatching a memorable victory for Queensland.
- 1994 Game 1, 1994: QLD def. NSW 16–12 – The greatest try in Origin history sees the ball pass through 10 sets of hands before Mark Coyne caps off the “miracle”.
- 1998 Game 1, 1998: QLD def. NSW 24–23 – Tonie Carroll outmuscles the defence showing the famous Queensland spirt and never give up attitude.
- 2005 Game 1, 2005: QLD def. NSW 24–20 – Matthew Bowen pounces on a wayward pass seeling victory in Golden Point.
- 2006 Game 3, 2006: QLD def. NSW 16–14 – Darren Lockyer snatches a wayward pass crossing the line and birthing a dynasty in the process.
- 2011 Game 1, 2011: QLD def. NSW 16–12 – Billy Slater stands tall, scoring a brilliant try that will be remembered for years to come.
- 2015 Game 1, 2015: QLD def. NSW 11–10 – An ice cool Cooper Cronk nails a clutch field goal, breaking NSW hearts across the country.
