SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset reviews

Well I owned the Arctic 7 and is a fantastic pair of head-phones, But the other day they were having problems with the usb cable being lose and chargering then not.

Orderd the Arctic Pro,Has a better and clearer mic and the sound is fantastic. Still have the Chat/game volume button which sold me (always play online with people so is a must for me) Has two batteries so dont have to worry about the usb to headphone charging.

Orderd it 10:40am in wellington and was in my hands by 7:19pm from Auckland, Nice Work Mighty Ape!

Love that it has two batteries so I never have to worry about plugging it up and charging it by cable, trying to get sound levels right is taking a while at first it seemed to low but I found in settings a sound limit lock turned it off that up it plus you can create your own sound level effect,Only thing so far is that I have a big head so just top of my head was touching the metal frame so my ears weren’t fully comfortable covered I had to bend the metal frame a bit now fits fine , just worried about the side joints snapping like that other fellow said in his review I’ve had it happen with a thew of my previous headphones afterglow,turtle beach and Logitech I hope that warranty covers it

Mighty Ape for starters absoloutely killed it with shipping, even in this pandemic they had this headset to me in Victoria, Australia with in one day!! As for the product it self in my opinion worth every cent. My last pair was the gen 4 a50's and I personally reckon just sound quality out of the box shits all over the Astros. All the settings and what not is just an added bonus but for anyone buying don't freak out with how quiet they are out of the box there is a volume limiter setting that you can access in the settings and turn it off and they are actually quite loud but still crystal clear all the way from lows to the mids and even up to the highs. 11/10 highly recommend.

Have had this headset for under a year, the tiny swivel joint that holds the ear cup on broke. The headset itself is solid, great long life batteries and the charging station for them is super handy just extremely disappointing to see these break. Especially at the price point.

The best gaming headset on the market at the moment. Solid construction, super comfortable with great software to customize your audio experience. A simplistic looking headset that can link to your phone while gaming that doesn't look outlandish.

Pricey but the sound quality is really good. Wait until its on a special then look at it then. It happens every now and then.

When I first got this I though oh God what have I done spending this much money and now that I've been using it a lot, I'd say it has been a worthy investment !

Amazing headset does everything you need Swift to set up and amazing sound

This headset is awesome, the sound quality and being able to control them from the receiver is great, setup is super simple, very comfortable so dont get uncomfortable when your on pc for a while, ive even used them as a normal pair of headphones and even then they worked extremely well. First headset ive had in the steelseries brand and am very impressed with the quality of the product.

The headset and all of its features work as you should expect. The equalizer settings are far too simplistic for a headset in this price range. The biggest problem I have with them is the white noise hissing that the left ear speaker alone generates (very noticeable). I would give this a 4.5–5 star if not for that issue. I plan on swapping them for a new pair and if the problem persists I am getting a refund. Will update as needed.

I don't know whether it is a product defect, even you don't play any games or music the static noise is still here, constantly, never stopping. As a $500 level headset, it makes me quite disappointed.

I bought this based on the reviews of it being the greatest gaming headset, it is in fact not worth the money at all. The mic is better in my laptop and the sound quality would be fine for a $50 set not a $500. Clunky with the added box that is required too. I'd send them back but the store won't take back used headphones unless they are in absolute pristine condition, so i'm stuck with them. Save your money and by something else or at least test in store before you buy.

These appear incredible with all the features listed put into a sleek pair of headphones. To bad they are not very comfortable, the constant hiss/white noise which is unavoidable regardless of settings fixes is irritating and the volume of them does not go very loud.

Combined with the fact that they are easy to break.. These are overpriced, over hyped disappointing product from one of my favorite brands steelseries.

Barely worth half the selling price IMO

Have had this headset for over 3years now and has barely faulted. Great ANC capabilities and surround sound has almost better experience than the set up in the lounge room. What makes this headset stand out against all others is the multi device connection function. Can't recommend high enough.

These sound well and good for movies and gaming I would say sounds good for some games but definitely movies I would say it feels very light and comfortable but may get or feel hot and sweaty on the ears when using it for so long however the build quality seems very on edge note to make sure when finish playing out then down gently and safe I feel over time the hinges may snap or break because it only has one support on each side holding the two earcups it looks if it could take a few accidental falls on the ground but my message to you is if you really like the sound quality these puppies bring take extra care of it just a warning build Quilty seems and looks very average I would suggest astro a50 because the build quality is fair and it delivers great sound maybe perfectly balanced compared to the steelseries pro great for gaming however movies is the same more for gaming but the bonus is astro has Dolby atoms when activated it sounds amazing when turned off it goes to being Dolby digital and sounds fine

Straight forward to use. Great having 2 batteries to switch out so never need to plug the headset in as one is always on charge. Very comfortable and lighter than expected, fits around my ears and around my industrial peircing so no pressure is put onto it 👌. Also great if you have any pets that like to to chew cords like my bird, no cords to chew no broken headset 😂 Is expensive but just use afterpay and you are set 👍

I abolutely love these headphones, theyre the first set of expensive headphones I have bought in this price range, and it seems to pay off. The features and functionality in practise is great. However, if you're buying you only want to know the downsides. First downside for me was the ear cushions were too thin, making my ears push up against the internal plastic of the speaker housing, easily fixed by replacing with some ear cushions from other headphones. The only other thing is the mildly noticeable white noise the headphones have when used wirelessly. This can be mostly fixed by having the program/device's vo­lume turned all the way up and the headphones volume slider as low as can be, along with the adaptive volume option enabled. Whilst audio is playing though, theres no problem at all. The white noise is very mild if set up properly and after a week or two I dont even notice it anymore anyway. All wireless headphones have these due to a lack of grounding typically. Overall great headphones, and the battery swapping is no hassle and is a genius idea overall.

These are simply the pinnacle of sound quality and comfort! Cant express how good these are! An annoyance (non issue really for me) would be the volume scroll placement on the rear, when laying down it can incrrease the volume also if your wearing a hoody it can rub and increase volume. Annoyance two would be these wireless headphones are so bloody good bad quality music really sounds terrible lol so llisten to high quality music lol. The battery system cant be beaten! I absolutley love this headset!! Worth every cent!!!!!!

Good headset, good quality, great sound. I haven't dropped this headset ONCE, I have been so extremely careful with this expensive purchase but simply taking the headset off and putting it on “too many times” in less than 6 months caused it to break completely. I think because the connection from the headset to the earmuff is too thin and fragile. The first crack I got only 2 months after purchase on the side of the band, maybe because my head is too big- I'm insulted.

This is the true everything headphone, I'm able to play on ps, Xbox, switch docked, PC, mobile, tablet, vita and switch portable. Nice clear sound, nice Equalizer presents, decent bass and it let's you see up a custom preset. It's comfortable, I wear it all day, ear cups are soft. Comes with 2 lithium batteries that you swap out, one charges on the transmitter dock, such a brilliant system! I was debating of either getting these or the Astro A50's and I know I have definitely made the right choice!

Its the best. Comfortable, great quality etc. Am able to play both console audios through it and use my pc at the same time which was what I was looking for

Very comfortable use this both for work and gaming. Great sound and love the 2 battery option.
