Great sound and comfortable to wear. Great to play sound clips to understand what these things can actually do. All in all happy with purchase, I am no audio geek my other headset was the Sony PS4 golds and was happy with them- But you can hear the difference price is only issue.
After much research I settled on these 840's for my PS4 gaming needs. And I'm not disappointed. Truely wireless. Awesome comfort. And stellar sound! The swappable battery is a godsend. Only quibble is the cover is a little tricky to twist off. Mighty Ape's great price let me push for the top of the line ones, so I can use them with my phone on the go!!
So I ended up going with these Siberia 840s after getting a set of the turtle beach elite 800s for my PS4 and the ear cup snapped after like 2 months and mighty ape were unreal they helped me with everything and refunded them so I got these Steelseries after doing some research. After using them for about 4 months I still love them Yes they are pricey but compared to other PS4 wireless headsets what these can do they link with your phone for calls and music (witch blends with the game sound perfectly) the chat mixer is amazing g and easy to use during game. The easy battery swap is a godsend and they are compatible with everything and blow the turtle beach elite 800s out of the water when it comes to sound these Steelseries are well worth the money if your after a awesome wireless headset for consoles.
My only negative would be that they are not super loud (I’m not saying they are not loud) but with the detail in sound and the soundscape and positioning it makes up for Them not being super loud in my opinion.
