Description

As much as 70 per cent of all construction projects will result in some kind of litigious action. A recently developed concept, partnering reduces legal disputes among contractors, architects, and project owners that can result in huge delays and cost overruns. Using partnering, all participants work together and accept joint responsibility for the completion of a project. Written by two of the most widely recognized authorities on partnering, this book provides practical advice on the use of this rapidly growing industry practice. With a united management agenda, a construction team can focus on problem resolution rather than fault finding. Partnering is gaining rapid acceptance in the construction industry, and is now used by agencies like the Army Corp of Engineers
