After 28 Days Later and before Slumdog Millionare Director Danny Boyle embarked on this science fiction epic, the sun is dying and mans last hope is to travel to the dying sun and explode the largest bomb ever made by man to reignite and save the dying earth. This is classic Danny Boyle, strong performances from all the cast including Cliff Curtis and Chris Evans, the effects are stunning and the 1080p transfer is a sight to behold with a roaring surround sound soundtrack that will have your windows almost shattering. To add there is an evil force at work trying to stop the mission from reaching its final destination. Add this to your collection you wont be dissapointed, its a movie you will watch more than once.

If It Dies, So Do We.

The sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device, which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel. Soon the crew are fighting not only for their lives, but their sanity.

Sunshine once again pairs director, Danny Boyle, with writer, Alex Garland, and producer, Andrew Macdonald, who previously teamed up for the thinking person’s zombie film, 28 Days Later.
