At the end of Season 5 Sam went to hell, and Dean faced life without his brother. Now they're back together, but there's something different about Sam. This season packs in heartbreak, heart-stopping action, and some of the wackiest episodes in the show's history.
The storyline does drift quite a bit from the original episodes of ‘salt and burn’, but the programme hasn't lost it's humor, and I find if it didn't have a convoluted plot and miles of back story, well, you'd be pretty bored by now, and not emotionally invested in it at all. So whilst with each season it gets a bit more serious, and the boys a bit more world-weary, they are still our boys and it's still the same programme and I give them credit for keeping me tightly gripped in their clutches for this long!
