Author Biography

Zoe Marriott is twenty-four years old and says she has been waiting to write The Swan Kingdom, her debut novel, since she was a child. "When I was six, my sister brought me an illustrated picture book version of Hans Christian Andersen's The Wild Swans. The story immediately captured my imagination and has stayed with me ever since." Zoe works as a civil servant and in her spare time likes to paint, hike and read. She lives in north-east Lincolnshire and has two cats named Echo and Hero.
