Updated for Season Ten (2015), the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project Volunteer Manual is designed to provide current and potential volunteers with the latest information about the excavation project, preparing to travel to Jordan as a member of the team, and what to expect when you get there. Every volunteer member of the TeHEP excavation team, along with anyone interested in this exciting excavation project or archaeology in general, is encouraged to read it.

Author Biography

Dr. Steven Collins is Executive Dean of Trinity Southwest University, where he lectures in the College of Biblical and Theological Studies, and serves as Dean of the College of Archaeology and Biblical History. He is Director and Chief Archaeologist for the Tall el-Hammam/Sodom Excavation Project in Jordan, and is one of the world's foremost biblical archaeologists. Carroll Kobs is one of two Assistant Directors for the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project and a doctoral candidate at Trinity Southwest University. Phil Silvia is a Field Supervisor for the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project and a doctoral candidate at Trinity Southwest University.
