A story that revolves around Boko, a young man in search for his real father. His step father loathed him like he was a pest that had to be eliminated. Knowing the truth about his biological father not only opened up a new world that frightened and intrigued him, but for some strange reason, turned his life upside down. It sheds light on the emotions and transitions he has to endure in the absence of his father. Boko hopes to meet his real father but his over-protective mother, who ruled with an iron fist, threatens to disown him. He has to decide his own future...

Author Biography

Jordan Dean was born on June 12, 1984 on Fergusson Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea. He completed his primary and secondary education in Alotau, MBP, PNG. He has a degree in accounting and management. He has been writing as a hobby for over a decade. He loves reading stories that gives meaning and depth to the simplest things in life. Several of his poems and short stories have been published in various magazines, anthologies and online platforms. He is an accomplished author of 'Forbidden Dancer: A Collection of Poems' and 'Reluctant Bride & other Short Stories from Papua New Guinea'. He is also an observant and thoughtful essayist.
