I used to use the enamel version of these paints on my miniatures to do gems and any coloured reflective surface. However, the enamel is hard on your paint brushes and would either leave them damaged or requiri g special cleaning products.
I am happy to say that will never be an issues with the acrylic version!
Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing. These paints can be used on styrol resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and can be blended easily.
