I bought this because i needed to paint some yellowish, dirt like, surface. It worked well, but like all Tamiya acrylics is sucks if you try and brush it on. (hence only the 3 stars) However, thinned and airbrushed, it's great, producing the requisite desert-like yellowish hue on a properly primed surface. If you want to paint a desert, or perhaps a waterhole, or even a tank body, you should consider this if you have an airbrush. If not, use a spray-can.
Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing. These paints can be used on styrol resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and can be blended easily.
