Handy but a fiddly piece to put together, and yet my second rack that came with no instructions, hence the 4 stars. Comes as an unassembled kit, and with no idea of how to put it together but only using the picture on it's packaging box as a reference guide, I begun the process of construction.

I lay out and sorted all the parts and once I figured out which pieces went where, I used some clear waterproof silicon sealant in the grooves and joints then let the pieces sit until the sealant was almost set. This allowed me to fit the cross sections snugly into their positions without them falling out or the frame falling apart.

Once all the sections were fit into place, I added a little more sealant to the inside corners of the frames then left the sealant to cure.

The sealant done a remarkable job of holding this thing together and just to make sure things are permanent, I followed up with some small nails to make it more solid.

It wasn't rocket science to put it together but a little bit of instruction may help – any modeller won't have an issue. Doesn't fit together that well and does require white gule and a couple of clamps will help hold it until. The glue sets. I have a small nail gun and that helped – an extra pair of hands may make life a bit easier during assembly. Once made it does the job and as it is vertical it does give you more room to move on your work bench. It does hold more paints than another type of holder I have.

It might look good on paper but it has no instructions and no tolerance levels. The parts are so lose in the slots any movement at all will cause the shelves to pop out of their place. Not just one but they'll usually ALL come out. The framing doesn't stay together during construction too so you need either a extendable clamp or a second pair of hands, so can't be build if you're alone. This drove me insane and eventually was binned.
