Jamie Newton is a little girl who lives in a small house. Her backyard is in the middle of the outback, in a land called Australia. Kangaroos and Wallabies hop in the tall grasses. Koalas live in the trees nearby and Emus strut around. Dingoes howl at night and Platypuses swim in a small pond.
