Juliann Brown, a San Francisco local, grew up in the sticks of Southern Illinois, where she was surrounded by a lot of hunting and fishing. Not being a fan of either sport, or the results of them, she decided to put a great twist on what is embedded in her memory and soul from her childhood. In 1988, she moved to San Diego and pursued an education and career in graphic design. Over the years, she worked her way up the coast, and San Francisco has been home since 2000. Although her career has been fruitful, she finally decided to break away from the man and do this book for all to get a current taste of bearded faces of our society and a bit of her insight on the whole ordeal.
