"The beatles as they are meant to be heard!"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is one superb boxset. I cannot believe that Seargent Pepper can sound so good in Mono, as I always thought that it was the perfect stereo Beatles album, but it sounds amazing. Rubber Soul punchy with none of the extreme separation of the stereo mix , and The White Album will blow your mind! The packaging of each album in the set is immaculate, detailed to the extent that reproductions of the original record sleeves, disc sleeves, booklets / posters (just like the ones included with the original records) are also included. It is definitely an expensive purchase, but any Beatles fans should seriously consider buying this set, as you will not be disappointed!

I own and play the original LP record box set. I have never owned a Beatles CD . . . Until now! Wow! what a massive difference, I'm hearing things I have never heard before.

Description

This Stereo Box set contains all 13 original albums plus the Past Masters as a double set which have been remastered and repackaged for this campaign. Each original album comes with an enhanced bonus video of the making of each album and for this box set only, these have been collated onto one bonus and exclusive DVD which will free the purchaser from having to sit at their computer to see these wonderful, fascinating video vignettes.

Within each CD's new packaging, booklets include detailed historical notes along with informative recording notes. For each CD, a brief documentary film about the album was newly produced. The mini-documentaries on the making of each album, directed by Bob Smeaton, are included all together on the DVD in this set. The documentaries contain archival footage, rare photographs and never-before-heard studio chat from The Beatles, offering a unique and very personal insight into the studio atmosphere.
