At home, he and his wife, Penny (they married when the strip was in its infancy), having held their marriage together through his various affairs, agonize over the future of their son, Christopher (now 19) while always striving to maintain their post-yuppie lifestyle.

Author Biography

Charles Peattie studied fine art at St Martins. He draws the Alex cartoon and Celeb in Private Eye. He lives in North London and has three children. Russell Taylor studied Russian at Oxford. In addition to writing Alex he has written books on Russia and marathon-running. He also writes TV music.
