Author Biography

Michael Francis Reagan served as a Plane Captain in the U.S. Navy (1963 - 1967) during the Vietnam War and after college served in the Peace Corps in Ivory Coast, West Africa. Reagan has been a free-lance illustrator for over forty years, specializing in hand-painted watercolor maps and wildlife illustrations for publications such as The New Yorker, National Geographic, Audubon, Outside, and others. His website is www.mapsbymikereagan.com. The Bird Dreamer is his first published short story. He lives in the mountains of North Carolina with his wife of 37 years, Christine. They have four grown sons.
