The Bottle is a collection of over 100 poems by Valerie Currie and follows a loose coming of age story where the speaker slowly, but surely, becomes comfortable in their own skin despite a plethora of struggles. Within the many lines of poetry, the speaker deals with the struggles of mental health, growing up, familial problems, love, and much more to eventually find their voice.

Author Biography:

Valerie Currie is a self-described prolific creative and activist. She is committed to pushing for change, spreading love, and encouraging self-expression. She is the author of The Bottle, a poetry collection that contains over 100 poems, and is currently working as a freelance social media specialist in Northeast Florida. She grew up in Satellite Beach, Florida, but now resides in Jacksonville, Florida. She studied Strategic Communication and Advertising at Flagler College while staying true to her love for writing.Currie can be reached at her website: valeriecurriemusic.com
