This text covers building regulations as they apply to all building types apart from houses, flats, shops, offices and factories. Therefore, any building where people assemble in number or any in which people reside, other than a house or flat, would be subject to these provisions. The book regroups the regulations and approved constructions according to the element to which they relate, for example, the chapter on walls deals with all regulations applicable to this element in an assembly building or one used for residential purposes.
