The Conqueror

In the 12th Century, Mongolian warlord Temujin (Academy Award® winner John Wayne, The Searchers) is a man of action over words. A respected warrior, destined to be crowned the great leader Genghis Khan, he is haunted by the violent loss of his father and engages in heated battle against the rival tribe responsible for his death. But on the home front, life is equally complicated as Temujin’s interest is taken by red-haired Tartar prisoner Bortai (Academy Award® winner Susan Hayward, I Want to Live!).
